Caring for your candle helps you enjoy a better, cleaner burn - and honours the repurposed bottle it was poured into.

First Burn

Allow the wax to melt right to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunnelling and ensure an even, long-lasting melt pool.

Trim the Wick

Keep your wick at 5mm before every light.
This prevents mushrooming, reduces soot, and keeps the flame steady.
Always trim once the candle has completely cooled.

Burn Time

Burn for 1.5–3 hours at a time for the best performance.

Safety First

Always burn on a heat-resistant surface and keep away from drafts, pets and little hands.
Never leave a burning candle unattended or move it while lit.
For safety, do not burn for longer than 4 hours at once as this may overheat the glass.

Repurpose Your Vessel

Once about 2cm of wax remains, let the candle cool, then clean the vessel with warm, soapy water.
Your repurposed bottle can live on again - as a planter, pen holder, makeup brush cup or keepsake.

Bottle Colour

All vessels are real rescued bottles, so colours may vary (green is most common). Each one is unique to you.
